Basic Troop Information

  1. Annual dues are $50 per boy, per semester. This fee covers all the scouts food and camping expenses. Additionally it helps defray the cost of Troop owned camping equipment.

  2. Electronic devices (cell phones, Ipods, GameBoys, etc) are not allowed on Campouts. If a scout brings one of these devices on a campout, it will be confiscated and auctioned on Ebay (proceeds go to the Troop fund). If it is necessary for a scout to have a cell phone, please make PRIOR arrangements with an adult in order to get permission.

  3. Scout uniforms  -We will always travel (to and from) campouts in scout dress uniform. The same uniform is expected for all scout meetings. During some scout outings, an activity shirt (red or green 729 logo) is permissible. If you are not sure - ASK.

  4. All scouts and scouters are EXPECTED to obey and exhibit the principles of the Scout Oath and Law.

  5. At all times, scouts and scouters should - Be Prepared
